All was cedar; no stone was seen. 19 The inner sanctuary he prepared in the innermost part of the house, to set there the ark of the covenant of the Lord. 20 The inner sanctuary ^{▼▼Vulgate; Hebrew and before the inner sanctuary} was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high, and he overlaid it with pure gold. He also overlaid ^{▼▼Septuagint made} an altar of cedar.

2 Chronicles 3:5-10

5 ^fThe nave he lined with cypress and covered it with fine gold ^gand made palms and chains on it. 6 He adorned the house with settings of precious stones. The gold was gold of Parvaim. 7 So he lined the house with gold—its beams, its thresholds, its walls, and its doors— ^hand he carved cherubim on the walls.

8 ⁱAnd he made the Most Holy Place. Its length, corresponding to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and its breadth was twenty cubits. He overlaid it with 600 talents ^{▼▼A talent was about 75 pounds or 34 kilograms} of fine gold. 9 The weight of gold for the nails was fifty shekels. ^{▼▼A shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams} And he overlaid ^lthe upper chambers with gold.

10 ^mIn the Most Holy Place he made two cherubim of wood ^{▼▼Septuagint; the meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain} and overlaid ^{▼▼Hebrew they overlaid} them with gold.

Ezekiel 41:13-17

13 Then he measured the temple, ^pa hundred cubits long; and the yard and the building with its walls, a hundred cubits long; 14 also the breadth of the east front of the temple and the yard, a hundred cubits.

15 Then he measured the length of ^qthe building facing the yard that was at the back and ^rits galleries ^{▼▼The meaning of the Hebrew term is unknown; also verse 16} on either side, a hundred cubits.

The inside of the nave and the vestibules of the court, 16 ^tthe thresholds and ^uthe narrow windows and the galleries all around the three of them, opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, from the floor up to the windows (now the windows were covered), 17 to the space above the door, even to the inner room, and on the outside. And on all the walls all around, inside and outside, was a measured pattern. ^{▼▼Hebrew were measurements}

Hebrews 9:2-8

2 For ^wa tent ^{▼▼Or tabernacle; also verses 11, 21} was prepared, the first section, in which were ^ythe lampstand and ^zthe table and ^aathe bread of the Presence. ^{▼▼Greek the presentation of the loaves} It is called the Holy Place. 3 Behind ^acthe second curtain was a second section ^{▼▼Greek tent; also verses 6, 8} called the Most Holy Place, 4 having the golden ^aealtar of incense and ^afthe ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was ^aga golden urn holding the manna, and ^ahAaron’s staff that budded, and ^aithe tablets of the covenant. 5 Above it were ^ajthe cherubim of glory overshadowing ^akthe mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

6 These preparations having thus been made, ^althe priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties, 7 but into the second only ^amthe high priest goes, and he but ^anonce a year, and not without taking blood, ^aowhich he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people. 8 By this the Holy Spirit indicates that ^apthe way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing
