1 Kings 8:25

25Now therefore, O Lord, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father what you have promised him, saying, a‘You shall not lack a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’

1 Kings 9:4-5

4And as for you, if you will bwalk before me, cas David your father walked, with integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that I have commanded you, and keeping my statutes and my rules, 5 dthen I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’

1 Kings 11:12-13

12Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son. 13However, eI will not tear away all the kingdom, but fI will give one tribe to your son, for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem gthat I have chosen.”

1 Kings 15:4

4Nevertheless, for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him ha lamp in Jerusalem, setting up his son after him, and establishing Jerusalem,

2 Chronicles 34:3

3For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet a boy, he began to seek the God of David his father, and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the iAsherim, and the carved and the metal images.

Psalms 89:3-4

3You have said, “I have made ja covenant with my kchosen one;
I have lsworn to David my servant:
4‘I will establish your moffspring forever,
and build your nthrone for all generations.’”  Selah

Isaiah 7:13-14

13And he
That is, Isaiah
said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you pweary my God also?
14Therefore the qLord himself will give you a sign. rBehold, the svirgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name tImmanuel.
 Immanuel means God is with us
