35 ^a“When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you afflict them,

1 Kings 9:3

3 And the Lord said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your plea, which you have made before me. I have consecrated this house that you have built, ^bby putting my name there forever. ^cMy eyes and my heart will be there for all time.
