1 Kings 8:35

35 a“When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you afflict them,

1 Kings 9:3

3And the Lord said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your plea, which you have made before me. I have consecrated this house that you have built, bby putting my name there forever. cMy eyes and my heart will be there for all time.

2 Kings 21:4

4 dAnd he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, e“In Jerusalem will I put my name.”

2 Kings 21:7-8

7And the carved image of fAsherah that he had made he set in the house of which the Lord said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, gand in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever. 8 hAnd I will not cause the feet of Israel to wander anymore out of the land that I gave to their fathers, if only they will be careful to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the Law that my servant Moses commanded them.”

2 Chronicles 6:5-6

5Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there, and I chose no man as prince over my people Israel; 6 ibut I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there, jand I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’

2 Chronicles 6:20

20 kthat your eyes may be open day and night toward this house, the place where you have promised to set your name, that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.
