1 Kings 8:44-45
44“If your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to the Lord atoward the city that you have chosen and the house that I have built for your name, 45then hear in heaven their prayer and their plea, and maintain their cause.2 Chronicles 13:14-15
14And when Judah looked, behold, the battle was in front of and behind them. bAnd they cried to the Lord, and the priests cblew the trumpets. 15Then the men of Judah raised the battle shout. 11And Asa ecried to the Lord his God, “O Lord, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. The Lord Delivers Jerusalem
20Then Hezekiah the king and Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, prayed because of this and cried to heaven. 21And the Lord sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty warriors and commanders and officers in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with mshame of face to his own land. And when he came into the house of his god, some of his own sons struck him down there with the sword.
