1 Kings 8:48-50

48 aif they repent with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you btoward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen, and the house that I have built for your name, 49then hear in heaven your dwelling place their prayer and their plea, and maintain their cause 50and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions that they have committed against you, and cgrant them compassion in the sight of those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them

2 Chronicles 7:14

14if my people who are called by my name dhumble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Ezekiel 18:21

21 e“But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does fwhat is just and right, ghe shall surely live; he shall not die.

Ezekiel 18:27-32

27Again, hwhen a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life. 28Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 29Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ O house of Israel, are my ways not just? Is it not your ways that are not just?

30Therefore iI will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. jRepent and turn from all your transgressions, klest iniquity be your ruin.
Or lest iniquity be your stumbling block
31 mCast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and nmake yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! oWhy will you die, O house of Israel? 32 pFor I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; qso turn, and live.”

Ezekiel 33:19

19And rwhen the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he shall live by this.

Matthew 21:28-31

The Parable of the Two Sons

28 sWhat do you think? A man had two sons. And he went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in tthe vineyard today.’ 29And he answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he uchanged his mind and went. 30And he went to the other son and said the same. And he answered, ‘I go, sir,’ but did not go. 31Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, Truly, I say to you, vthe tax collectors and wthe prostitutes go into xthe kingdom of God before you.

Romans 3:25

25whom God yput forward as za propitiation aaby his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in abhis divine forbearance he had passed over acformer sins.
