2 Chronicles 7:20

20 ethen I will pluck you

2 Chronicles 36:19

Jeremiah 7:4-14

4 iDo not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

5For if you truly jamend your ways and your deeds, if you truly kexecute justice one with another, 6if you ldo not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, mor shed innocent blood in this place, nand if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 othen I will let you dwell in this place, pin the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.

8Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 qWill you steal, murder, commit adultery, rswear falsely, smake offerings to Baal, tand go after other gods that you have not known, 10and then come and stand before me in this house, uwhich is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 vHas this house, wwhich is called by my name, xbecome a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord. 12Go now to ymy place that was in Shiloh, zwhere I made my name dwell at first, and aasee what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel. 13And now, because you have done all these things, declares the Lord, and abwhen I spoke to you persistently you did not listen, and acwhen I called you, you did not answer, 14therefore I will do to adthe house aethat is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, afas I did to Shiloh.

Jeremiah 26:6

6then I will make this house aglike Shiloh, and I will make this city aha curse for all the nations of the earth.’”

Jeremiah 26:18

18Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and said to all the people of Judah: ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts,

ai“‘Zion shall be plowed as a field;
Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins,
and the mountain of the house a wooded height.’
