1 Kings 9:7-8

7 athen I will cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, band the house that I have consecrated for my name I will cast out of my sight, cand Israel will become a proverb and a byword among all peoples. 8And this house will become a heap of ruins.
Syriac, Old Latin; Hebrew  will become high
Everyone passing by it will be astonished and will hiss, and they will say, eWhy has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’

2 Chronicles 7:20-21

20 fthen I will pluck you
Hebrew them; twice in this verse

Jeremiah 26:18

and the mountain of the house a wooded height.’

Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem

But now sthey are hidden from your eyes. 43For tthe days will come upon you, when your enemies uwill set up a barricade around you and vsurround you and hem you in on every side 44 wand tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And xthey will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know ythe time of your zvisitation.”
