1 Peter 1:14-16

14As obedient children, ado not be conformed to the passions bof your former ignorance, 15but cas he who called you is holy, you also be holy din all your conduct, 16since it is written, e“You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

2 Peter 1:4-8

4by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become fpartakers of the divine nature, ghaving escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. 5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith hwith virtue,

are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or ounfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
