3 ^aBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! ^bAccording to his great mercy, ^che has caused us to be born again to a living hope ^dthrough the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to ^ean inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and ^funfading, ^gkept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being guarded ^hthrough faith for a salvation ⁱready to be revealed in the last time.
