1 Peter 1:3-8

Born Again to a Living Hope

3 aBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! bAccording to his great mercy, che has caused us to be born again to a living hope dthrough the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to ean inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and funfading, gkept in heaven for you, 5who by God’s power are being guarded hthrough faith for a salvation iready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by jvarious trials, 7so that kthe tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes lthough it is tested by mfire—may be found to result in npraise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 oThough you have not seen him, you love him. pThough you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,

1 Peter 4:13

13But rejoice qinsofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad rwhen his glory is revealed.

1 John 3:1-3

1See swhat kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called tchildren of God; and so we are. The reason why uthe world does not know us is that vit did not know him. 2Beloved, we are wGod’s children xnow, and what we will be yhas not yet appeared; but we know that zwhen he appears
Or  when it appears
abwe shall be like him, because acwe shall see him as he is.
3And everyone who adthus hopes in him aepurifies himself as he is pure.
