Suffering as a Christian

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at ^athe fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice ^binsofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad ^cwhen his glory is revealed. 14 ^dIf you are insulted ^efor the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory ^{▼▼Some manuscripts insert and of power} and of God rests upon you.

Revelation of John 15:2-4

2 And I saw ^gwhat appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those ^hwho had conquered the beast and its image and ⁱthe number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass ^jwith harps of God in their hands. 3 And they sing ^kthe song of Moses, ^lthe servant ^{▼▼Greek bondservant} of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
