5 After that you shall come to ^aGibeath-elohim, ^{▼▼ Gibeath-elohim means the hill of God} ^cwhere there is a garrison of the Philistines. And there, as soon as you come to the city, you will meet a group of prophets coming down ^dfrom the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying. 6 ^eThen the Spirit of the Lord will rush upon you, ^fand you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.

1 Samuel 10:10

10 When they came to ^gGibeah, ^{▼▼ Gibeah means the hill} behold, a group of prophets met him, ⁱand the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them.

1 Samuel 19:20-24

20 Then Saul sent messengers to take David, and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as head over them, ^jthe Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, ^kand they also prophesied. 21 When it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, ^land they also prophesied. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, ^mand they also prophesied. 22 Then he himself went to Ramah and came to the great well that is in Secu. And he asked, “Where are Samuel and David?” And one said, “Behold, they are at Naioth in ⁿRamah.” 23 And he went there to Naioth in Ramah. ^oAnd the Spirit of God came upon him also, and as he went he prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah. 24 ^pAnd he too stripped off his clothes, and he too prophesied before Samuel and lay naked all that day and all that night. Thus it is said, ^q“Is Saul also among the prophets?”

Jeremiah 36:5-6

5 And Jeremiah ordered ^rBaruch, saying, ^s“I am banned from going to the house of the Lord, 6 so you are to go, and ^ton a day of fasting in the hearing of all the people in the Lord’s house you shall read the words of the Lord from the scroll that you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities.

Joel 2:28-29

The Lord Will Pour Out His Spirit
