1 Samuel 11:6-7

6 aAnd the Spirit of God rushed upon Saul when he heard these words, and his anger was greatly kindled. 7He took a yoke of oxen band cut them in pieces and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hand of the messengers, saying, cWhoever does not come out after Saul and Samuel, so shall it be done to his oxen!” Then the dread of the Lord fell upon the people, and they came out das one man.

1 Samuel 11:11

11 eAnd the next day Saul put the people fin three companies. And they came into the midst of the camp in the morning watch and struck down the Ammonites until the heat of the day. And those who survived were scattered, so that no two of them were left together.

1 Samuel 14:13

13Then Jonathan climbed up on his hands and feet, and his armor-bearer after him. And they fell before Jonathan, and his armor-bearer killed them after him.

1 Samuel 14:15

15And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even gthe raiders trembled, the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic.

Saul Fights Israel’s Enemies

47When Saul had taken the kingship over Israel, he fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, iagainst the Ammonites, against Edom, against the kings of jZobah, and against the Philistines. Wherever he turned he routed them. 48And he did valiantly kand struck the Amalekites and delivered Israel out of the hands of those who plundered them.
