1 Samuel 12:18-20

18So Samuel called upon the Lord, and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day, aand all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.

19And all the people said to Samuel, bPray for your servants to the Lord your God, that we may not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil, to ask for ourselves a king.” 20And Samuel said to the people, “Do not be afraid; you have done all this evil. Yet cdo not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.

1 Samuel 12:24

24 dOnly fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider ewhat great things he has done for you.

Jonah 1:9-10

Jonah 1:15-16

15So they picked up Jonah and hurled him into the sea, land the sea ceased from its raging. 16Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, mand they offered a sacrifice to the Lord nand made vows.

Malachi 2:5

5My covenant with him was one of life and opeace, and I gave them to him. pIt was a covenant of fear, and he feared me. He stood in awe of my name.
