1 Samuel 12:20-23

20And Samuel said to the people, “Do not be afraid; you have done all this evil. Yet ado not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. 21And bdo not turn aside after cempty things that cannot profit or deliver, for they are empty. 22 dFor the Lord will not forsake his people, efor his great name’s sake, because fit has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself. 23Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing gto pray for you, hand I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

Job 42:8

8Now therefore take iseven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and joffer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall kpray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”
