1 Samuel 12:22

22 ^aFor the Lord will not forsake his people, ^bfor his great name’s sake, because ^cit has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself.

9 ^dDo not sweep my soul away with sinners,
nor my life with bloodthirsty men,

28 For the Lord ^eloves justice;
he will not forsake his ^fsaints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be ^gcut off.

11 and say, “God has forsaken him;
pursue and seize him,
for there is none to deliver him.”

5 Keep your life ^hfree from love of money, and ⁱbe content with what you have, for he has said, ^j“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
