1 Samuel 15:22

and to listen than the fat of rams.

Proverbs 21:3

3 cTo do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Jeremiah 22:15-16

15Do you think you are a king
because you compete in cedar?
Did not your father eat and drink
and ddo justice and righteousness?
eThen it was well with him.
16 fHe judged the cause of the poor and needy;

Matthew 9:13

13Go and learn lwhat this means: m‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For nI came not to call the righteous, obut sinners.”
