1 Samuel 16:11-12

11 Then Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all your sons here?” And he said, ^a“There remains yet the youngest, ^{▼▼Or smallest} but behold, he is keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, ^c“Send and get him, for we will not sit down till he comes here.” 12 And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ^druddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the Lord said, ^e“Arise, anoint him, for this is he.”

2 Samuel 3:18

18 Now then bring it about, ^ffor the Lord has promised David, saying, ‘By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel from the hand of the Philistines, and from the hand of all their enemies.’”
