1 Samuel 16:7

1 Kings 3:11-13

11And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12behold, cI now do according to your word. Behold, dI give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you. 13 eI give you also what you have not asked, fboth riches and honor, so that no other king shall compare with you, all your days.

1 Kings 8:18

18But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

2Then King David rose to his feet and said: “Hear me, my brothers and my people. gI had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord and for the hfootstool of our God, and I made preparations for building.

1 Chronicles 29:17-18

17I know, my God, ithat you test the heart and jhave pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you. 18O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep forever such purposes and thoughts in the hearts of your people, and direct their hearts toward you.

Proverbs 23:7

7for he is like one who is inwardly calculating.
Or  for as he calculates in his soul, so is he

Eat and drink!” he says to you,
but his lheart is not with you.

Acts 5:4
