1 Samuel 16:7
7But the Lord said to Samuel, a“Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, bbut the Lord looks on the heart.”1 Kings 3:11-13
11And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12behold, cI now do according to your word.
