44 The Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh ^ato the birds of the air and to the beasts of the field.” 45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with ^ba javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, ^cwhom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. ^dAnd I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day ^eto the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, ^fthat all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,

Ezekiel 29:5

5 ^hAnd I will cast you out into the wilderness,
you and all the fish of your streams;

To the beasts of the earth and to the birds of the heavens
^kI give you as food.

Ezekiel 31:12-13

12 ^lForeigners, ^mthe most ruthless of nations, have cut it down and left it. ⁿOn the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs have been broken in all ^othe ravines of the land, and ^pall the peoples of the earth have gone away from its shadow and left it. 13 ^qOn its fallen trunk dwell all the birds of the heavens, and on its branches are all the beasts of the field.

Ezekiel 39:4-5

4 ^rYou shall fall on ^sthe mountains of Israel, you and all your ^thordes and the peoples who are with you. ^uI will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 You shall fall in the open field, for ^vI have spoken, declares the Lord God.
