50So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. There was no sword in the hand of David.1 Samuel 18:5-7

and David his ten thousands.”
1 Samuel 18:25
25Then Saul said, “Thus shall you say to David, ‘The king desires no fbride-price except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, gthat he may be avenged of the king’s enemies.’” hNow Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.1 Samuel 19:5

10Toi sent his son Joram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him, for Hadadezer had often been at war with Toi. And Joram brought with him articles of silver, of gold, and of bronze.
