Eli’s Worthless Sons

12Now the sons of Eli were aworthless men. bThey did not know the Lord.

Psalms 9:10

10And those who cknow your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Jeremiah 9:6

6Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit,
dthey refuse to know me, declares the Lord.

The Lord Accuses Israel

There is no faithfulness or steadfast love,
