1 Samuel 8:11-18

The Portion for the Prince

7 i“And to jthe prince shall belong the land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city, alongside the holy district and the property of the city, on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary 8of the land. It is to be his property in Israel. And kmy princes shall no more oppress my people, but lthey shall let the house of Israel have the land according to their tribes.

Ezekiel 46:18

18 mThe prince shall not take any of the inheritance of the people, nthrusting them out of their property. He shall give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that none of my people shall be oscattered from his property.”
