The Lord Rejects Eli’s Household

27 And there came ^aa man of God to Eli and said to him, “Thus says the Lord, ^b‘Did I indeed reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt subject to the house of Pharaoh?

1 Samuel 9:6

6 But he said to him, “Behold, there is ^ca man of God in this city, and he is a man who is held in honor; ^dall that he says comes true. So now let us go there. Perhaps he can tell us the way we should go.”
