1 Samuel 2:33-34

33The only one of you whom I shall not cut off from my altar shall be spared to weep his

2 Chronicles 34:28

28Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the disaster that I will bring upon this place and its inhabitants.’” And they brought back word to the king.

Esther 8:6

6For how can I bear fto see the calamity that is coming to my people? Or how can I bear to see the destruction of my kindred?”

Jeremiah 52:10-11

10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at gRiblah. 11 hHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison itill the day of his death.
