1 Samuel 2:33-34

33The only one of you whom I shall not cut off from my altar shall be spared to weep his

1 Samuel 4:11

11 fAnd the ark of God was captured, gand the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

1 Samuel 4:17

17He who brought the news answered and said, “Israel has fled before the Philistines, and there has also been a great defeat among the people. Your two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God has been captured.”

1 Samuel 22:18-19

18Then the king said to Doeg, “You turn and strike the priests.” And Doeg the Edomite turned and struck down the priests, hand he killed on that day eighty-five persons who wore the linen ephod. 19And Nob, the city of the priests, he put to the sword; iboth man and woman, child and infant, ox, donkey and sheep, he put to the sword.
