36 And everyone who is left in your house shall come to implore him for a piece of silver or a loaf of bread and shall say, “Please put me in one of the priests’ places, that I may eat a morsel of bread.”’”

Ezekiel 44:29-31

29 ^aThey shall eat the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, and ^bevery devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs. 30 ^cAnd the first of all the firstfruits of all kinds, and every offering of all kinds from all your offerings, shall belong to the priests. ^dYou shall also give to the priests the first of your dough, ^ethat a blessing may rest on your house. 31 ^fThe priests shall not eat of ^ganything, whether bird or beast, that has died of itself or is torn by wild animals.
