1 Samuel 2:7-8

7 ^aThe Lord makes poor and makes rich;
^bhe brings low and he exalts.
8 ^cHe raises up the poor from the dust;
he lifts the needy from the ash heap
^dto make them sit with princes
and inherit a seat of honor.
^eFor the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s,
and on them he has set the world.

Psalms 105:19-22

19 until ^fwhat he had said came to pass,
the word of the Lord ^gtested him.
20 ^hThe king sent and ⁱreleased him;
the ruler of the peoples set him free;
