Jonathan Warns David

1Then David fled from Naioth ain Ramah and came and said before Jonathan, “What have I done? What is my guilt? And what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

2 Samuel 21:16-17

A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of bronze, and who was armed with a new sword, thought to kill David.
17But Abishai the son of Zeruiah came to his aid and attacked the Philistine and killed him. Then David’s men swore to him, d“You shall no longer go out with us to battle, lest you quench ethe lamp of Israel.”

1 Kings 19:3

3Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to fBeersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.

2 Kings 6:16-18

16He said, “Do not be afraid, gfor those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please hopen his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of ihorses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18And when the Syrians came down against him, Elisha prayed to the Lord and said, “Please strike this people with blindness.” jSo he struck them with blindness in accordance with the prayer of Elisha.

2 Kings 6:32

32Elisha was sitting in his house, kand the elders were sitting with him. Now the king had dispatched a man from his presence, but before the messenger arrived Elisha said to the elders, “Do you see how this lmurderer has sent to take off my head? Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door and hold the door fast against him. Is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?”
