1 Samuel 22:20-22
20But one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named aAbiathar, escaped and fled after David. 21And Abiathar told David that Saul had killed the priests of the Lord. 22And David said to Abiathar, “I knew on that day, bwhen Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul. I have occasioned the death of all the persons of your father’s house.1 Samuel 23:6
6 cWhen Abiathar the son of Ahimelech had fled to David to Keilah, he had come down with an ephod in his hand.1 Samuel 23:9
9David knew that Saul was plotting harm against him. And he said to Abiathar the priest, d“Bring the ephod here.”2 Samuel 8:17
17and eZadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and fSeraiah was secretary,2 Samuel 15:24
24And gAbiathar came up, and behold, hZadok came also with all the Levites, ibearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city.2 Samuel 15:29
29So Zadok and Abiathar carried the ark of God back to Jerusalem, and they remained there.2 Samuel 15:35
35Are not Zadok and Abiathar the priests with you there? So whatever you hear from the king’s house, jtell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.2 Samuel 20:25
25and Sheva was secretary; and kZadok and Abiathar were priests;1 Kings 1:7
7He conferred with lJoab the son of Zeruiah and with mAbiathar the priest. And they followed Adonijah and helped him.
