17 He said to David, “You are more righteous than I, ^afor you have repaid me good, whereas I have repaid you evil.

11 behold, they reward us ^bby coming to drive us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit.

12 ^cThey repay me evil for good;
my soul is bereft. ^{▼▼Hebrew it is bereavement to my soul}

5 So they ^ereward me evil for good,
and hatred for my love.

13 If anyone ^freturns evil for good,
^gevil will not depart from his house.
