1 Samuel 24:21-22

21 ^aSwear to me therefore by the Lord that you will not cut off my offspring after me, and ^bthat you will not destroy my name out of my father’s house.” 22 And David swore this to Saul. Then Saul went home, but David and his men went up ^cto the stronghold.

1 Samuel 30:15

15 And David said to him, “Will you take me down to this band?” And he said, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me or deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will take you down to this ^dband.”
