1 Samuel 24:6-7

6 He said to his men, ^a“The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is ^bthe Lord’s anointed.” 7 So David persuaded his men with these words ^cand did not permit them to attack Saul. And Saul rose up and left the cave and went on his way.

2 Samuel 1:14

14 David said to him, “How is it you were not ^dafraid to put out your hand to destroy ^ethe Lord’s anointed?”

2 Samuel 1:16

16 And David said to him, ^f“Your blood be on your head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have killed ^gthe Lord’s anointed.’”

Psalms 105:15
