1 Samuel 25:29

29If men rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living in the care of the Lord your God. And the lives of your enemies ahe shall sling out as from the hollow of a sling.

1 Samuel 25:39

to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, so that the Lord might bring harm upon Absalom.

2 Samuel 17:23

23When Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey and went off home to jhis own city. He kset his house in order and lhanged himself, and he died and was buried in the tomb of his father.

2 Chronicles 25:16

16But as he was speaking, the king said to him, “Have we made you a royal counselor? Stop! Why should you be struck down?” So the prophet stopped, but said, “I know that mGod has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”
