1 Samuel 25:32-34

32And David said to Abigail, aBlessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me! 33Blessed be your discretion, and blessed be you, bwho have kept me this day from bloodguilt cand from working salvation with my own hand! 34For as surely das the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, ewho has restrained me from hurting you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, truly by morning there had not been left to Nabal so much as one male.”

1 Samuel 28:10

10But Saul swore to her by the Lord, f“As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”

2 Kings 6:31-33

31and he said, g“May God do so to me and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today.”

32Elisha was sitting in his house, hand the elders were sitting with him. Now the king had dispatched a man from his presence, but before the messenger arrived Elisha said to the elders, “Do you see how this imurderer has sent to take off my head? Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door and hold the door fast against him. Is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?” 33And while he was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him and said, “This trouble is from the Lord! jWhy should I wait for the Lord any longer?”
