1 Samuel 25:33-38
33Blessed be your discretion, and blessed be you, awho have kept me this day from bloodguilt band from working salvation with my own hand! 34For as surely cas the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, dwho has restrained me from hurting you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, truly by morning there had not been left to Nabal so much as one male.” 35Then David received from her hand what she had brought him. And he said to her, e“Go up in peace to your house. See, I have obeyed your voice, and I have granted your petition.”36And Abigail came to Nabal, and behold, fhe was holding a feast in his house, like the feast of a king. And Nabal’s heart gwas merry within him, for he was very drunk. So she told him nothing hat all until the morning light. 37In the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, his wife told him these things, and his heart died within him, and he became as a stone. 38And about ten days later ithe Lord struck Nabal, and he died.

David Defeats the Amalekites
16And when he had taken him down, behold, they were spread abroad over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah. 17And David struck them down from twilight until the evening of the next day, and not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men, who mounted camels and fled.2 Samuel 13:28

9But his servant kZimri, commander of half his chariots, conspired against him. When he was at Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, lwho was over the household in Tirzah,1 Kings 20:16-22
16And they went out at noon, while Ben-hadad mwas drinking himself drunk in the booths, he and the thirty-two kings who helped him. 17The servants of the governors of the districts went out first. And Ben-hadad sent out scouts, and they reported to him, “Men are coming out from Samaria.” 18He said, “If they have come out for peace, take them alive. Or if they have come out for war, take them alive.”19So these went out of the city, the servants of the governors of the districts and the army that followed them. 20And each struck down his man. The Syrians fled, and Israel pursued them, but Ben-hadad king of Syria escaped on a horse with horsemen. 21And the king of Israel went out and struck the horses and chariots, and struck the Syrians with a great blow.
22Then nthe prophet came near to the king of Israel and said to him, “Come, strengthen yourself, and consider well what you have to do, for oin the spring the king of Syria will come up against you.”
Joel 1:5
5 Awake, you drunkards, and weep,and pwail, all you drinkers of wine,
because of qthe sweet wine,
for it is cut off from your mouth.
