1 Samuel 25:38-39

38And about ten days later athe Lord struck Nabal, and he died.

39When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, bBlessed be the Lord who has cavenged the insult I received at the hand of Nabal, dand has kept back his servant from wrongdoing. eThe Lord has returned the evil of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent and fspoke to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

Hosea 2:3

3lest gI strip her naked
and make her as hin the day she was born,
and imake her like a wilderness,
and make her like a parched land,
and kill her with thirst.

Hosea 4:2-3

2 jthere is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery;
they break all bounds, and kbloodshed follows bloodshed.

and all who dwell in it languish,
mand also the beasts of the field
and the birds of the heavens,
nand even the fish of the sea are taken away.

Amos 7:4
