1 Samuel 26:19

19Now therefore let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is the Lord who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the Lord, afor they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in bthe heritage of the Lord, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods.’

1 Kings 12:27-30

27If this people cgo up to offer sacrifices in the temple of the Lord at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn again to their lord, to Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah.” 28So the king took counsel and dmade two calves of gold. And he said to the people, “You have gone up to Jerusalem long enough. eBehold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.” 29And he set one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. 30Then fthis thing became a sin, for the people went as far as Dan to be before one.
Septuagint  went to the one at Bethel and to the other as far as Dan

1 Kings 14:16

16And he will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he sinned and made Israel to sin.”

1 Kings 15:30

30It was for the sins of Jeroboam that he sinned and hthat he made Israel to sin, and because of the anger to which he provoked the Lord, the God of Israel.
