1 Samuel 30:6-8

6And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke aof stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul,

7 cAnd David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David. 8 dAnd David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue after this eband? Shall I overtake them?” He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake fand shall surely rescue.”

Mark 14:31-36

31But ghe said emphatically, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” And they all said the same.

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane

32 hAnd they went ito a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, Sit here while I pray.” 33And he took with him jPeter and James and John, and began kto be greatly distressed and troubled. 34And he said to them, lMy soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and mwatch.”

35And going a little farther, he fell on the ground oand prayed that, if it were possible, pthe hour might pass from him. 36And he said, qAbba, Father, rall things are possible for you. Remove sthis cup from me. tYet not what I will, but what you will.”
