Psalms 38:2-8

2For your marrows have sunk into me,
and your hand nhas come down on me.
3 There is ono soundness in my flesh
because of your indignation;
there is no health in my pbones
because of my sin.
4For my qiniquities have gone over my head;
like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.
5 My wounds stink and fester
because of my foolishness,
6I am rutterly bowed down and sprostrate;
all the day I tgo about mourning.
7For my sides are filled with burning,
and there is uno soundness in my flesh.
8I am feeble and crushed;
I vgroan because of the tumult of my heart.

Psalms 39:10-11

10 wRemove your stroke from me;
I am spent by the hostility of your hand.
11When you discipline a man
with xrebukes for sin,
you yconsume like a zmoth what is dear to him;
aasurely all mankind is a mere breath!  Selah
