21 So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of ^aKiriath-jearim, saying, “The Philistines have returned the ark of the Lord. Come down and take it up to you.”

1 Samuel 7:1

1 And the men of Kiriath-jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord and brought it to the house of ^bAbinadab on the hill. And they consecrated his son Eleazar to have charge of the ark of the Lord.

1 Chronicles 13:6

6 ^cAnd David and all Israel went up to ^dBaalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who ^esits enthroned above the cherubim.
