15 Now the day before Saul came, ^athe Lord had ^brevealed to Samuel:

9 The Lord of hosts has sworn in my hearing:
^c“Surely many houses shall be desolate,
large and beautiful houses, without inhabitant.

7 “For the Lord God does nothing
^dwithout revealing his secret
to his servants the prophets.
