1 Samuel 9:7-8

7Then Saul said to his servant, “But if we go, awhat can we bring the man? For the bread in our sacks is gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?” 8The servant answered Saul again, “Here, I have with me a quarter of a shekel
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver, and I will give it to the man of God to tell us our way.”

1 Kings 13:7

7And the king said to the man of God, “Come home with me, and refresh yourself, and cI will give you a reward.”

2 Kings 4:42

42A man came from dBaal-shalishah, ebringing the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Elisha said, fGive to the men, that they may eat.”

2 Kings 5:5

5And the king of Syria said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.”

So he went, gtaking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels
A  talent was about 75 pounds or 34 kilograms; a  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of gold, and ten ichanges of clothing.

15Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. And he said, “Behold, I know that jthere is no God in all the earth but in Israel; so kaccept now a present from your servant.”

Hazael Murders Ben-hadad

7Now Elisha came to lDamascus. mBen-hadad the king of Syria was sick. And when it was told him, “The man of God has come here,” 8the king said to nHazael, oTake a present with you and go to meet the man of God, pand inquire of the Lord through him, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this sickness?’” 9So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, all kinds of goods of Damascus, forty camelsloads. When he came and stood before him, he said, q“Your son Ben-hadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this sickness?’”
