The Coming of the Lord

13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, mthat you may not grieve as others do nwho have no hope. 14For osince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him pthose who have fallen asleep. 15For this we declare to you qby a word from the Lord,
Or  by the word of the Lord
that swe who are alive, who are left until tthe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16For uthe Lord himself will descend vfrom heaven wwith a cry of command, with the voice of xan archangel, and ywith the sound of the trumpet of God. And zthe dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive, who are left, will be aacaught up together with them abin the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so acwe will always be with the Lord. 18Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

23Now may adthe God of peace himself aesanctify you completely, and may your afwhole agspirit and soul and body be kept blameless at ahthe coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
