2 aWe give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly

3remembering before dour God and Father eyour work of faith and labor of flove and gsteadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 4For we know, hbrothers
Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church
loved by God, jthat he has chosen you,
5because kour gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and lin the Holy Spirit and with full mconviction. You know nwhat kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.
