A Life Pleasing to God

1Finally, then, brothers,

we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you hreceived from us ihow you ought to walk and jto please God, just as you are doing, that you kdo so more and more.
2For lyou know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3For this is the will of God, myour sanctification:

othat you abstain from sexual immorality;
4that each one of you know how to control his own pbody
Or  how to take a wife for himself; Greek  how to possess his own vessel
in holiness and rhonor,
5not in sthe passion of lust tlike the Gentiles uwho do not know God; 6that no one transgress and vwrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is wan avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. 7For xGod has not called us for yimpurity, but in holiness.

1 Timothy 4:11-12

11Command and teach zthese things. 12 aaLet no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers aban example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Titus 2:8-10

Titus 3:8

8The saying is amtrustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful anto devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.
