1 Thessalonians 2:5-6

5 ^aFor we never came with words of flattery, ^{▼▼Or with a flattering speech} as you know, nor with a pretext for greed— ^cGod is witness. 6 ^dNor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, ^ethough we could have made ^fdemands as ^gapostles of Christ.

Titus 1:11

1 Peter 5:2-5

2 Peter 2:3

3 And ^vin their greed they will exploit you ^wwith false words. ^xTheir condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
