1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

The Coming of the Lord

13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, athat you may not grieve as others do bwho have no hope. 14For csince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him dthose who have fallen asleep. 15For this we declare to you eby a word from the Lord, ▼

 that gwe who are alive, who are left until hthe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For ithe Lord himself will descend jfrom heaven kwith a cry of command, with the voice of lan archangel, and mwith the sound of the trumpet of God. And nthe dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive, who are left, will be ocaught up together with them pin the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so qwe will always be with the Lord. 18Therefore encourage one another with these words.
