1 Thessalonians 4:3-7

3For this is the will of God, ayour sanctification:

4that each one of you know how to control his own dbody
Or  how to take a wife for himself; Greek  how to possess his own vessel
in holiness and fhonor,
5not in gthe passion of lust hlike the Gentiles iwho do not know God; 6that no one transgress and jwrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is kan avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. 7For lGod has not called us for mimpurity, but in holiness.

Titus 2:11-14

11For nthe grace of God ohas appeared, bringing salvation pfor all people, 12training us to renounce ungodliness and qworldly passions, and rto live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in sthe present age, 13 twaiting for our blessed uhope, the vappearing of the glory of our great wGod and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 xwho gave himself for us to yredeem us from all lawlessness and zto purify for himself aaa people for his own possession who are abzealous for good works.

Titus 3:8

8The saying is actrustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful adto devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

14And let our people learn aeto devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not afbe unfruitful.

Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church
be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and awelection, for if you practice these qualities axyou will never fall.
