1 Timothy 3:2-7

2Therefore aan overseer
Or bishop; Greek episkopos; a similar term occurs in verse 1
must be above reproach, cthe husband of one wife,
Or a man of one woman; also verse 12
esober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, fhospitable, gable to teach,
3not a drunkard, not violent but hgentle, not quarrelsome, inot a lover of money. 4He must manage his own household well, with all dignity jkeeping his children submissive, 5for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for kGod’s church? 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may lbecome puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7Moreover, he must be well thought of by moutsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into na snare of the devil.
